Marriage by Abdul Jari

Marriage has been known among the oldest good traditions that the human race has been practicing. With a lot of men and women all around, without institutionalizing marriage, the adultery and fornication will become the order of the day. There will not be father, children will only have mothers,
because the fathers of the children will not take the responsibilities of the children. As all religions and scriptures have it, when God created Adam (AS), Adam was the first and
the only human as of that time. Loneliness that beserge Adam (AS), he kept on. supplication to God to give him partner that
will live with him. God then in his infinity mercy gave out from his left part of his rips and then created Hauwa (Eve) for him so that he will have comfort.
   Marriage is design to be forever. Though there is divorce, but the divorce is unwanted and conditional. There are a lot of factors that one need to look before  choosing a spouse so as to have a successful marriage;
Firstly, before choosing a spouse, one need to under stand his religious commitment. This is because, God is the creator of all mankind. If there is any relationship, then it is behind God - servant relationship. If that person that you intent to marry has no commitment to God, has no respect to the rules of God, then I guess he/she will not be committed to you. He/she will not respect you. And he/she will not take any good care of you. God created him/her, it is God that is providing his/her sustenance, and yet that person does not respect God. How will he/she respect you?
Secondly, you should know, learn and find out the level at which your spouse respect his/her parent. I doubt if your proposed spouse fail the first one if he can make the second one. Our parent are responsible for our progress, our development and our up bringing. Our mothers carry us in the womb for twelve months. They suffered all our childishness to bring us to where we are today. If your spouse does not respect his/her own parent, then forget it, if you must marry. him/her, then let you know that your proposed spouse will not respect and care for you as he is not doing it to his/her
parents.
Thirdly, before chosen a spouse, you need to know the level of his/her commitment to his/her siblings. Your proposed spouse needs to respect his/her siblings. Because they grow together, play together, suffer and progress together. If your fiancee does not love, tolerate, and respect his/her siblings,
then how can your proposed spouse respect you.
Fourthly, your fiance must have neighbors, friends, cousins and other relatives. Don't let love overwhelm you, take a look of how he/she treat them, count on that before. You
relationship become stronger.
Among other things that one should look before chosen a spouse are; his honesty, sincerity, generosity, tolerance, understanding, his love to other people and his maturity. These things cannot be over look. One must make sure that he fully scrutinize the person he wants to marry so as to have a successful, responsible and reasonable family in the future.

Ferguson Killings by Abdulbaqi Jari

The recent killing of a black teenage boy by a white police officer in Ferguson, state of Missouri,  Unites State, have re-expose the state of racial intolerance in the and selective justice in the United States of America. The killing of Mr Brown further shows the lie been promoted by western medias that America and western Europe are civilized and respect human rights of. Every human being irrespective of background.
The blacks accounts for about 15 percent of the 310 million population of the United States. Unfortunately, despite President Obama as the current President of the US, America's policy against minorities has not change in any way despite very long years of advocacy against that. Minorities whether racial, religious, or ideological are been huntered down any where by the United State despite its so called rights to religion. The US is persecuting them for no reason. Recently, a Pastor named Terry Jones in the US burned the Holy Qur'an in a ceremonious gathering in florida. Also, it took years of persistent trial and determination before muslims were finally allowed to build an Islamic center in the former location of the twin towers. Likewise other racial minorities like the indigenous Indians, they too are not spared. In fact even ideological different can cause the US to hunt a person or state down. During the hay times of Communism in the 1960s, America kept on illegally pressuring smaller nation of the world to abandon Communism or be sanctioned. America was in Vietnam war and Korean war only to stop Communism from spreading. So also was America in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia etc in order to forcefully promote capitalism and so called "De more crazy"
The Judgment of the Grand Jury not to try the white police officer that killed Mr Brown was not a surprise to me at all. Despite the significant number of black in Ferguson, it was only three out of twelve juries that are blacks, hence the majority of the white juries chooses not to vote for the white officers to stand on trial.
Martin Luther King Jr is long gone now. perhaps,  he went to his grave with his battle for equality and equity. That was why increasing racially motivated crimes are on the increase in the US, especially in the East cost states.
For the minorities in the US to enjoy a better life and security, they must unite and be their brothers keeper. They should help their fellows by sponsoring their education and securing their future. If not, the 1940s golden time of racism may be resuscitated again.

In Defense of MURIC, bring back our Ajami on the New Naira by Abdulbaqi Jari.

The recent changes on 100 naira note has continue to generate reactions and counter reactions - with the latest coming from the Presidency demanding apologies from muslim rights congress (MURIC). It will be recalled that on 24 of november this month, MURIC released out a very strong statement about how the Hausa- Arabic (Ajami) writing of "Naira Dari" was changed with a jewish symbol on the proposed new centenary 100 denomination to be the first to be printed in Nigeria. MURIC called for rethink on the ill fated changes on the 100 naira denomination as there was no reason for the sudden, un ceremonial removal of the Ajami writing on it.
There is no doubt that the "un ceremonial" removal of the Ajami writing was un called for and will only generate further controversy and mis understanding in a deeply divided nation like Nigeria.  MURIC see the removal of Ajami on the new 100 naira note as a deliberate action in aligning Nigerian muslims in their country and perhaps a continuous plan to make them irrelevant in Nigeria. The silent, un ceremonial removal of the of Ajami on the lower denominations of 5, 10, 20 and 50 naira in 2006 yielded no positive result(s), but rather, that shows how un patriotic, intolerance Nigerians are descending especially at a. Very difficult time like this one.
In my piece titled "Another ill fated. Removal of Ajami on 100 naira notes" that appeared on 20 of this month, I also made a similar remark on the need to retain the  Ajami writing as it is not a threat to anybody, talk less of assuming it to be a Threat to our dear nation.  The Ajami just like the English writing on our currency was meant for reading and writing, not show casing any tribe or section in Nigeria. The Ajami came into Northern Nigeria over 600 years before the coming of English in Southern Nigeria. If one argues that the Ajami writing is Islamic because it came from the Arabs, then English writing is Christianic since it came from Christians. If One think that Ajami is for Hausa people, and that Nigeria is a secular country and does not belongs to Hausa people, then let it be noted the Arabic is an international language, the 2nd largest in the world.
It Is now time that Nigerians should embrace patriotism and shun illogical sentiments and chauvinism. For over 54 years since our independence from Britain, Nigeria is yet to achieve it full potentials, peace, consistent development and security.  This is largely due to some ill minded people advocating hatred and un patriotism among Nigerians - especially tribal and religious one.
I call on the authorities concerned, since the notes have not been made public and are not In circulation, let them  go back and bring back our Ajami on the new 100 naira notes. Nigerian muslims are Nigerians, Nigerian Hausas are Nigerians,  Nigerian Northerners are also Nigerians. We are united Nigerians and the Nigerian government should not divide us.

Nigeria's Security in the Hands of Northerners and at our own Peril by Abdulbaqi Jari .

Nigeria is now facing it greatest challenges like never before since Its creation 100 years ago. The conquest of Northern Nigeria in 1903, Nigerian civil war, and post election violence of 2011 combine are of no match to the unprecedented level of challenges that Northern Nigeria, and indeed Nigeria is facing now. Especially the insecurity challenge, corruption, looting of Public funds and complete break down of morality and law and order.
Nigeria like any other country have security agencies meant to; safe guard Nigeria, maintain law and order, and to preserve the government. The Department of state security(DSS),the  Police, the military, the para military agencies, and the central intelligence agency (CIA) . These and a lot other agencies and ministries are meant to ensure the above mentioned objectives.
The northern Nigeria is the embattled region right now. But looking critically at all the security agencies and their heads, one will be surprised, baffled, and confused on why  insurgency is still thriving in Northern Nigeria as virtually all the heads of security in Nigeria are Northerners. The chief of Defense staff is a Northerner from Adamawa state, the national security adviser from Sokoto, minister of defense from Zamfara, minister of internal affairs from Benue, IG of police from Jigawa state, Dikko Inde of Custom service from Katsina, immigration controller, etc. But what is happening? Even though the President and commander in chief of the armed forces is not from Northern Nigeria,  " but one tree cannot make a forest" why is Insurgency thriving in Nigeria? Is it that these people are not concern?  Or is it that the North and what happens In it doesn't mind them?
The recent development and occupation of more Nigerian lands put the questions of conspiracy theories. Is it that Nigeria is under attack from within? Or from out sides dark forces? There are insinuations that Islam is the target of the conspiracies.  But some of the security heads are Muslims. There are other important Muslim leaders like four former heads of states, the Sultan, and other Muslims organizations like JNI and JIBWIS, is it that they can do anything about? The impounded plane in South Africa may be a legitimate reason for any body to suspect that. But why will person sponsor another person to kill?
Is over due that all hands should be on deck to find a lasting solution to this crisis. That will be an imperative measure to future existence of Nigeria after 2015 elections, that is also Imperative to the peace and of Nigeria, ECOWAS, and indeed the whole of Africa.

Top 3 Professional Photographers ( Arewa Magazine)

Top 3 professional  photographers ( Arewa Magazine)

Photography is the science, art and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film, or electronically by means of an image sensor.

There are many differences in Images captured by different Professional photographers. For example the images Captured by Steve Reinz a Kaduna based Photographer are different from images Captured by George Okoro or Maigaskiya. This is because photography is part of ART. Photographers decide what to take a photo of, what elements to exclude and what angle to frame the photo, and these factors bring about different beautiful images, not to forget editing as well.

Without saying much, here are our Top 3.

1 George Okoro  ( instagram @georgeokoro)

Words can't Explain the beauty of his pictures. Munira's pictures are super beautiful, thanks to his handwork.  Good job by George Okoro, no wonder he added Sir to his name

Letter To General Muhammadu Buhari by Abdul Jari .

Allow me a space to call the attention of the people's general, the most popular politician in Africa, the tested and trusted leader General Muhammadu Buhari on claims from some politicians that he has endorsed them for some particular offices in his party and other parties  come 2015.  The growing number of the said endorsements are growing and hence the need for the general to know and to take proper action before they cause any conflict and embarrassment to his personality.
Peoples General! Your popularity and the backing you are enjoying from the masses is countless and  beyond your own expectations.  Sir, the need for you your self not to publicly declare your support for any aspirant before primaries is imperative to maintaining the good Internal democracy our  party is enjoying.  This is because, doing that may bring back the party's conflict like it happened in 2011 when a candidate in Katsina,Kaduna, Bauchi and kano governorship races claimed that the general endorsed him, that resulted into the party losing the election and a lot other positions.
It baffles me to see the way politicians hide under the umbrella and good name of General Muhammad Buhari to win positions only to change another party later and to turn away from the general and the people. A politician currently serving as governor in the North east region was voted into power because of Buhari in 2007, he later defected to the ruling party with no regrets and pity in him. Also, another governor in North west did similar thing like that, but he was stopped in 2011. Another was a governor before who got there because of Buhari, he later defected and is now a minister. This is not to mention the tens of thousands of other parliamentarians, party leaders, business men and women, associations, so called Comrades etc - who are benefiting from the good name of General Buhari to gain popularity, personal, political and other worldly things, but will later betray the general. And the people.
Sir, the need for grooming leadership in Nigeria is like never before. While you go for the top office of President, there is the need for you through an association, forum or any other Reliable means (outside political party as it is for everybody) to groom good leaders like you - under your watchful eyes, that will help in building the society especially the grass root as that is where leadership starts.
I wish you well my General, the Struggle for betterment of any nations come with difficulties and sacrifices. I understand and appreciate your sacrifices. Sir, do not allow any body to influence you to retire from politics because of age. Robert Mugabe is 90 and is doing well in Zimbabwe. Ronald Reagan was 70 when he became the President of United States. Continue with what you have started 12 years ago, Abdullahi wade of Sengeal and Muhammad Yusuf of Niger Republic spent 25 and 20 years respectively in the opposition before finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Sir, if you wish to chose any person as your running mate, please consider his up rightness, his achievements and his political value, do not allow people to discourage you from choosing a running mate on the basis of faith. If you wish to choose Fashola, please go ahead and chose him. He is competent and has a lot of political value.
General !  Shall in case  the primary or the general elections are rigged, please take the matter to the court. There may not be justice there, but you are a peace loving person, and peace will lead you way to success.
As 2015 elections come nearer, I pray may Allah (SWT) chose the best leaders for us to govern our country. Ya Allah guide them to the right path and ensure for us peace, faith and security.

Reviving the Image of Arewa by Arewa Youths for Change.

Arewa!!! Its a place where Masculinity balancesFemininitya place with culture and diversity. It is rather disturbing to say that the Arewa our elders struggle to build which our parents saw is different from what we are seeing and experiencing today, even more disturbing to see the natural flaw of order derogating every now and then.

Arewa was a place where love was shared in the societyirrespective of religion, tribe, or any other affiliation. Peoplecare for one another, their families, friends, Neighbours and even their guest. A place full of love, Unity, Peace and Harmony that was Arewa, there was no greed, envy, or hate amongst its people, all we were is ‘Yan Arewa. The Elders provided for the Young ones with the Young ones listening and adhering to theirElders. The problems of Tivs were the problems of Jukun, and the Problems of Birom was the Problem of Fulani, and the problem of any tribe was the problem of Arewa. Where elders convers and solve all the problems of one its people.

Regrettably to say, today Arewa is not what it used to be, from a society of Peace, Love, Unity, Order and Mutual respect for one another, to a society full of hate and transgression where no one is respected, elders mistrust the confidence of the youths while the youths misplaced the loyalty of the elders, communities torn apart, people turning against each order, leadership looting, stealing, and poking extravagance all in the expense of the masses while they’re left at the detriment of their faiths.

It is quite unfortunate as we acclaim to be the giants of Africa but yet we cannot manage the problems in our housewithout resulting to conflict. Often at times people say that Arewa people are vicious and full of manias which refutably any one would disagree, and usually. We do ask these questions; were our leaders like late Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa or wasChief Obafemi Awolowo like this? Was Sir Ahmadu Bello or DrNnamdi Azikwe too like this? The answers are definitely ‘NO’.

We always plunder in asking ourselves. Why the change in system, Norms and ValuesWhat was wrong in those trends of elders which have been giving us pride as the Arewa (Northern) people we are? Why the change of trend from a sincere society to a cunning and devious society? Why our Elders or Parentswho enjoyed so much diligence of good dividend of leadership from those leaders at regional levels and Nigeria at large being different?, why the Nigeria in those days to late 1980s is providing for jobs and to some extends catering for societybeing different today?, Why does these same people in leadership who have grossly enjoyed the dividend of tranquillity, transparency, leadership and good governance being so engross in corruption, looting of public funds, misappropriating public trust, destroying and deviously bleeding the poor dry and equipping them with nothing but a devastating hunger and starvation with lack of Infrastructure and even the necessary human basic amenities.

In light of these question It has become imperative to mention that Arewa and the nation at large has change indeed, and gone where the days of which concerned citizen will keep quiet and watch those in public offices loot, steal and go scot-free, we most rise to the challenge.

Hence, Arewa youths for change and Empowerment Association Calls on all Youths to be Proactive and stand firm In solidarity and call For Good Governance and Leaderships, towards a more Democratic and Transparent society.

Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria……

Hon Patrick Obahiagbon, on the invasion of NASS by the Police

“The presidential invasion of the National Assembly, which was unscrupulously executed by its pursuivant Inspector General of Police, had all the trappings of an Entebbe raid and executive rascality which is deservable of an acidic excoriation and corrosive pummeling”.

Mr. Obahiagbon added that “The impeachment gambit is however, a frankeinstous yoyo with a potency for an erebus prone whirligig”.

As expected, the statement is generating a lot of buzz on the former rep member’s Facebook page with over 300 comments, 367 likes and 521 shares as at the time of publishing this report.

Islam the Second richest religion by Abdul J

Islam is the second largest religion in the world. It was estimated that there are over 2 billion muslims in the world. Allah the most High brought Islam through Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) of the Arabs  over 1440 years ago. Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) to guide human beings to the right path, and moderate some of human behaviors through a manual, that is the Holy Kur'an.
Islam has always been teaching peace, humbleness, generosity and other godliness acts. Arrogance, exuberance, violence and other bad behaviors have been discouraged and prohibited in Islam.
Royal Monarchy, power inheritance, Shiekdoms, Emirates are among the many types of leadership been practiced in the Arab world. The ruling royals are the ones controlling the state resources. Their spending are unaccounted, no body has the right to speak about their spending and their power to temper state resources.
Saudi royals are known for their filthy rich life styles. They spend a lot on things they wish to buy. Just recently, an amateur picture been circulated aorund shows a gift from Saudi King which he gave to his daughter which was  a gold toilet seat that worth over 320 thousand dollars, that was just an ordinary example. So are many of the things they do just for their enjoyment.
As Arabs and the people of the same culture and tribe that the most exalted Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) came from, other Muslims are imitating from them, sending their children to learn from them, as such, are expected to be more muslims than other ordinary muslims. They should consider the bounty of Allah on them and be generous and run away from worldly thing ( Zuhudu as it is called in Islam).
While their fellow muslims are living in object poverty, they are been killed daily like people of Palestine, Nigeria, Somalia, Syria etc, as muslims, they are expected to show concern, care and love not exuberance. Their is a Prophetic narration that muslims are like a wall, one block is supporting the other to stand. In another saying of Prophet Muhammad (SAAS), he said " non of you is a true believer until he loves for his brother what which he loves for him self".
Muslims from around the world should reflect on what is happening to us, we should repent to Allah, seek for his forgiveness and do righteous deed.

Shema's Candidate. (Daily Trust)

Engr. Musa Nashuni

Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina has kept many guessing on who will succeed him until his body language recently indicated he is supporting Engr. Musa Nashuni. Our correspondent reports.

Since the name of Engr. Musa Nashuni started making the rounds as the anointed candidate of Governor Ibrahim Shema for 2015, people have been trying to unmask the said candidate giving his low profile in the political scene of the state.
Though Shema has kept politicians in the state in suspense over the years on who will succeed him, it became clear in recent weeks when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) started selling forms for the various elective positions open for contest in 2015, that the governor may have decided to settle for Engr. Nashuni as his anointed successor.
This, to many, is not surprising given their long standing relationship.
Nashuni is said to have been chosen having worked for long in the Shema cabinet and is said to understand the workings of the government.
This is in addition to the fact that he is from Kankia local government of Katsina State which is strategic in the quest for power shift in the state.
His being from Kankia gives him an added advantage that the Shema administration is trying to capitalise on due to the growing agitation for power shift in the state. Kankia, politically is situated in Katsina North, that is the Daura zone which has never produced a governor since the creation of the state.
But traditionally, Kankia falls under the Katsina emirate which is the hub of Katsina Central that has held power in the state for the past 25 years as all those that have governed the state even since it was in the old Kaduna State, are from the zone. The fact that Nashuni can claim to be from both zones has given the Shema administration an edge to insist on Nashuni.
But aside that, he is believed to be among the best of brains in the cabinet having graduated with a first class from Camborne School of Mines in the United Kingdom. He equally holds a Masters Degree from Queens University Kingston, Ontario, in Mining Engineering.
Nashuni has been in the cabinet of Governor Shema since he was appointed special adviser to Shema on resource development in August 2007. He was later elevated to the post of Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport in August 2010 before moving to the Ministry of Resource Development, a position he held until he was drafted into the gubernatorial race.
Of the eight PDP candidates vying for the governorship in 2015, Nashuni is relatively unknown having worked behind the scenes even as special adviser and commissioner in the seven years he has been in government.
Nashuni is seen as a neophyte politically as he has all this while kept a low profile.
But his being a commissioner is said to be in line with the tradition of succession in the state  as Shema was a commissioner in the cabinet of Yar’adua, so the emergence of Nashuni from the cabinet is seen as following the footsteps earlier started by the late president when he was a governor in the state.
Already, Nashuni is becoming a brand name in Katsina with his image now on display on many sign posts and bill boards at strategic locations across the state.
It is believed that to help him realise his ambition, political experts have been drafted into his campaign team to sell him to the electorate ahead of the general elections as the PDP primary, according to some of his close associates, is a forgotten issue.
His supporters say their main concern is the general election where they expect opposition from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nashuni attended Nuhu Primary School from 1961 to 1967 then Barewa College Zaria from 1968 to 1977 before proceeding to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1973 to 1974 all before his educational sojourn in Europe. He believes that good governance is achieved when people are involved in designing and implementing government policies and projects.
His working experience before joining government dates back to 1980 with the Nigerian Mining Corporation where he served in various capacities and rose through the ranks, from Assistant Project Manager in 1980 to Executive Director (Mining) between 1991-1999 were he was responsible for the supervision of all the corporation’s mining companies.
The calibre of personalities that attended his submission of forms at the PDP headquarters shows that already he has started falling into main stream politics.
They include the Speaker of the state Assembly, Umar Yau Gwajo-Gwajo, the governor’s Chief of Staff, Salisu Majigiri, DG of SMEDAN, Umar Masari, members of the state assembly and council of the state, and some PDP officials who said they were there in their personal capacities to show support.

Removal of Arabic from the 100 Naira Note by Abdul Jari

The recent slide modification on 100 naira currency note which was the first currency ever to be produced locally in Nigeria has on it been removed the Arabic writing in Hausa language (Ajami as it is called in Hausa language) that read "Naira Dari" on it. Just like the 200 naira notes and above, the former 100 use to have the Arabic - Hausa. Writing on the left lower part of the note.
It will be recalled that in 2009 when the lower paper denominations notes of naira where changed to polymer, the Ajami Hausa-Arabic writing was removed for no reason. The nature at which the Ajami was removed was also controversial and ill termed.
Some argue  that the Ajami writing was a symbol of religion of Islam, and that Nigeria is a circular country that needs not to show any religious identity on its currency. But if that is the case, why do we have English writing? Why is it that there are Hausa, Yaruba and Igbo languages on the currency? Is it that Nigeria belongs to these three tribes?
The Ajami writing was purposely meant to enable Hausa and other tribes that learned Arabic long before English  to read the currency for easy understanding. As English came to Nigeria through the South, so did Arabic came to Nigeria through the North.
I want to call on  Nigeria government and all Its ministries, departments and agencies, to please always study something critically before implementing it. Government programs are suppose to be good, important and popularly accepted by the people.

Resumption (UDUS) byComrade Abdulbaqi Aliyu Jari. @jariabdubaqi

Registration for 2013/2014 session for returning students has already started on monday 17 November in Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUS).  Earlier on, fresh students had already finished their registration from 3 to 17 of November this month.
According to the new calendar posted onwww.udusok.edu.ng, classes are expected to start On 8 of December next month, and will run till late May 2015.
There was a serious delay fro the resumption of the students as they went on vacation since september this year. This is due to a very serious renovation that is going on in the main campus of the university. Hostel accommodation is among the major challenges the university is facing. The university which is located 19 kilometers away from city center in Dundaye, Wammako local government is far from school and off campus is costly. The university which is having about 23 thousand students have a hostel accommodation of just about five  thousands students only. It is far for students to go to and fro daily for their studies. Transport is also another challenge for the students on daily basis.
I wish my fellow students success in this academic session. "You should make hays while the sun shine's"

Marriage is about Sabr (patience) by Arewa Magazine

Indeed Good women are for good men and good men are for good women. This is the degree of God in the holy book. If a person, male or female should marry someone bad there might be problems or even divorce at the end of the Day. You see marriage is about patience and Tolerance.

Here is a wonderful post by Hafiz Ladan expressing his love for the only woman in his life.

They have been dating for over 9 good years. This wouldn't have been possible without true love, patience and Tolerance. How many of us can spend five years with one person not to talk about nine good years. Wishing both of them a long peaceful Marriage. Divorce should never be an option.

You see divorce is not a Sin but God is not Happy with it.

"My wife Mary and I have been married for forty-seven years and not once have we had an argument serious enough to consider divorce; murder, yes, but divorce, never." - Jack Benny

Marriage shouldn't only be about a big wedding and splashing of cash during a wedding event. People should Always remember Sabr ( Patience). Humans are not perfect and couples should remember to wave away the dark side of their lover.

Wedding pictures do bring joy while going through images, especially years after the marriage. How will one feel while going through his or her wedding pics after divorce? The pictures might break someone down.

November and December are marked with many weddings all over the country. This will get many people confused over which wedding to attend. Lol this is when the concept of oppurtunity cost comes in. One must sacrifice many weddings for just one because in some situations it will be hard to attend all.

Arewa Magazine will cover many weddings within this month and Next month.

Arewa Magazine will cover the Many weddings including that of Firdausi, Ummi Magawata, and Zainab A. yari. It is going to be hectic but we shall do our possible best to bring out the beauty of the marriages for our readers.

Many professional photographers have been busy covering many marriages also. Here are some pictures by them.

Much credit to Steve Reinz, George Okoro, MaiGaskiya and Eyes Of Insanity. Their handwork is just out of this world.
Wishing all those married, and those getting married a long lasting marriage. May God make it possible for those who are yet to get married. Always remember. That marriage is about Sabr.

"Happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife.

Can Nigeria Organize a free and Fair elections by Abdul Jari

In the next three months to come, the political area will be tense and overheated as it will be the time when votes will be about to be casted. Elections in Nigeria is motivated by tribal and religious inclination.
The current President Goodluck Jonathan from the ruling PDP will be contesting. Though he has promise a free, fair and acceptable elections, but still the general feelings of Nigerians remain that elections in the country are unyielding exercise as their vote will not count.
The need for internal community to monitor the elections and assist Nigeria in organizing a credible elections in 2015 is imperative to the countries future existence as a nation.
All the previous elections in Nigeria were mired. With violence, fraud and were classified as fraud elections. Nigeria is the giant of Africa. The need for stability and security in Nigeria is imperative to other neighboring state around Nigeria.
Political violence are not new to Nigeria. Nigerians already are insinuating that their country may break come to 2015. This is no joke. The lack of patriotism and genuine strive by Nigerians to assist their country in achieving a national dream is no longer in the spirit of Nigerians. This is why Nigerian from all walks of life are dis franchised and focused on individualism as a simple method of ones survival.
The NGOs, community associations and activists must rise up and orient Nigerians by installing in them patriotism and confidence in their country. Otherwise their will come a time when no Nigerian will come out to vote and leaders will only be announced to Nigerians on the NTA

Writing as my Choice of Career by Benaxir Omar

my names are Benaxir Omar, indegene of Gombe, but base in bauchi/abuja. Studying microbiology at atbu bauchi..
I am the C.E.O of saje novel writing, in which i named after my grandfather, in these little business i write hausa, english , and islamic novels. I write subscribts too, and articles base on order,
every journey  i believe has a begining so as my writing too, when i was in primary i neither speak nor write hausa, my teachers call me "bahausa" so as my classmates too, i can remember when i told my  teacher that i'll definately bring him a  hausa novel written by me!. I began to write hausa novel in ss1 in which i'll write in a notebook and give it out to my friends to read, they really enjoy it and praised me, as life goes on i write the stories and send through my whatsapp contacts and groups, facebook etc.a novel like NIMA MACECE, SIRRINA NE, WHOLE LIFE OF A LADY, MY UNWANTED PREGNANCY etc.. Then i wrote a subscribts for the hausa movie industry in which they produce.later on i had a blog in which i post the novelswww.sajenovelss.mywapblog.com. And then i began to write articles and stories in which customers purchase and publish.
Being a writer/novelist is not an easy task, i had a lot of ups and downs interms of competition, but i was able to pull through, when i told my dad about these he could'nt believe,he taught all was a joke as am acting older than my age, he keeps advising me. My mum always support me, she's proud of me.my friends and relatives support me too but everyone was wondering how i manage to do all the writing, beside being a student am also a therapist, and my course is not related too,
Writing is a talent and creativity i've got to stay true to my desires,to my passions,to my calling,to my dreams, and to reality,
I will advise anyone who aspires to a writing career that before developing his talent he would be wise to develop a thick hide.and believe me with writer's there's nothing wrong with melancholy. Its an important colour in writing, the role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say.
As for  me i write what disturbs me,what i fear, what i have, not been willing to speak about, be willing to be split open.and  a good story i believe is a dream shared by the author and the reader.

Am planning to publish two novels at these december insha Allah MY FRIGLE HEART, and BANBANCIN NAMIJI DA MIJI.

Friends Charity Group

FRIENDS CHARITY GROUP

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah, Alhamdulillah for giving us the strength, live and health to witness this day. We send oursalutations to the noblest of creatures, the best among people, and the leader of the ummah, a Prophet (s.a.w)teacher, and upon all the best leader, Muhammad (S.A.W), including his family, noble companions and all who have followed their path till the Day of Judgement.

Welcome to Friends Charity Group (FCG), a newly established group with a vision to promote the image of our deen, Islam. FCG seeks for your support, encouragement, knowledge andhard work to achieve its purpose.

There are several charity groups out there that help impact on lives of people, some of which started as national and are now international. We want to start a group with the favors Allah has bestowed upon each and every one of us. Most of the charity groups start for the purpose of worldly needs (i.e. to be recognized, to be applauded for etc.). We know of the hadith, every action is based on the intention it started for. We don’t want to create only a charity group, we want to promote Islam as a way of life, we want Allah to shower mercy on us, and we want this group to serve as a salvation on the day of judgement, an atonement for our wrong doings, and a path that Allah will in His infinite mercy grant us Paradise.

 We pray our five daily prayers, act well to our neighbors, and treat our parents with kindness and respect. We thank Allah forguiding us towards this course, and we pray He gives us the ability to do more and earn His mercy. No amount of prayer, fasting, zakat, hajj or any righteous deed will grant paradise to a person, except when the act of Ibadah is coupled with Allah’s acceptance and mercy. The Prophet (s.a.w) said take advantage of five before five;

1.
Health before sickness
2.
Wealth before poverty
3.
Youth before old age
4.
Free time before you get preoccupied
5.
Life before Death

Many of us are familiar with this hadith, of which had awakened a reality within me. One of the beauties of Islam, is that we are given a secure way of life, and the best understanding which gives us the highest strength and motive. It is known, that the one who spends his youth in servitude to Allah, will be rewarded highly, and also be amongst the 7 to be in Allah’s shade on the day where there will be no shade. It is usually within our youth, we have less responsibility, we are at the peak of our healthand we have ample amount of time. The great benefit in this is, if we use our time and efforts in Allah’s way, Allah places baraqah in it.
